If Friends Were Flowers

My mom is going to a gift swap next month and she asked if I would make her a set of cards for her gift.  This is one of the set (see my last two posts for others).  The colors were inspired by a challenge at Verve stamps to use green, pink, and brown.  I happened to have a scrap of pattern paper that had just that combination so that was my starting point.  I added the stamped sentiment from Verve (of course) and then blinged it up a tiny bit with ribbon, pearls, and embossing (I used both the embossed and debossed sides of a Tm Holtz folder) - all perfect for the bingo challenge at Pile It On.  And let's not forget Diane at DL.arts - her birthday is this month so we're creating all kinds of things for her birthday "party"!

  1. Love this card and the pearls around the sentiment are a perfect touch! Thanks so very much for joining us this week at the Pile it On Challenge!
