I love the use of the yellow, black and grey. I like the bird and flower you add. Grey is my favorite color.

    3rd: My Top Favorite:) http://scrappydistractions.blogspot.com/2012/04/hipster-layout-with-close-to-my-heart.html

Okay so when i being to craft my 1st love was scrap booking. It still is but sometime my cards take over. Ha! I love the hexagon pattern. Its my favorite part of the layout. I like that you added ribbon, buttons to still make it have girly feel but still hip.

  16. Amy,

I am banner crazy too. I have a question, do you make these big banners? I have seen them on other peoples pages but don't know if they are buying them or making them? They really make your scrapbook pages "pop".

    Hugs,

    1. Thanks, Chriss! Banners are so much fun. For the banners, I use the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge from Close to My Heart. This is the only cartridge I use - seriously. While I do create a lot of my own Cricut cutting files using SCAL or MTC and get a lot from others, I find myself almost always going back to the Art Philosphy cartridge for banners, doilies, flourishes, flowers, borders, and shapes for all seasons. And even better, it comes with three coordinating stamp sets and three large sets of coordinating chipboard tags and shapes. Love it. Check it out at my CTMH shop (click on box in top right corner of my blog or go straight to http://scrappydistractions.ctmh.com/CTMH/Content.aspx?id=%2fen%2fsitecore%2fcontent%2fOBA%2fProducts%2fCricut_Art.aspx)

      It is worth every penny!

    1. Thanks, Julia! And I love seeing the international flair of my visitors - when I saw how you spelled "favourite" I had warm memories of living in the UK for many years (though I know our Candain friends use the "u" as well).

      Thanks again for stopping by.

  21. Enjoyed touring your blog and "living" some of your memories with you through your scrapbook pages. I especially liked the layout called Spring Flowers. The photo is lovely, and those paper flowers you've used for the embellishments are so unique and interesting. They add to, but do not distract from, the composition of your layout.
