Long time no blog...

Hello blogging friends!  It has been more than a month since my last post - sorry!  It has been an insane month at work so haven't had a chance to be creative - boo hoo!  But alas!  I finally got a break this weekend, dusted off some paper, and tested my memory to see if I still knew how to create.

This layout was inspired by the June 15th sketch at Paper Secrets but it seems that over the course of putting it all together, I found myself deviating quite a bit from the original.  It really DID look like the picture at one point...  The inspiration is still evident...but definitely not a carbon copy.

Ingredients:

• Background paper = Create Paper - Maggie Holmes
• Accent paper = MME Lost & Found 3 Ruby (the two grey papers); MME Lush 2 (the navy dots and grid papers)
• Yellow tag = American Crafts Chaps
• Yellow polka dot banner = Fancy Pants Park Bench border stickers
• Small alphas = Prima; the chevrons on the "Hyde" frame are actually "V" letter stickers from the set turned on their side
• Ampersand = Thickers Mulberry
• Cork and Felt Star and Heart = Little Yellow Bicycle; on the heart sticker, I overlaid a heart I cut from one of the MME papers on top of the original light blue felt heart
• Enamel dots = MME Lost & Found 3
• "Poloaroid" frames = created using Make the Cut and cut on Silhouette Cameo
