Home is Where Chaos Lives

So the idea for this layout began with Scrapping Everyday Miracles challenging its followers to scrap about where you feel most at home plus the Southern Girls Challenge site who challenged us to use banners..  It was then further inspired by a challenge at Scrapbook.com about pets and love (as well as a lift of someone's previous layout).  And all three were perfect since I feel most at home with my daughter and our dogs on a well-loved comfy sofa (since replaced since the original photo was taken due to a bit TOO much love from the dogs!).

In this layout, I wanted to convey a number of ideas - the happiness I have with my three favorite girls, the unending and unconditional love our black dog has for us (and us for her).  She is constantly licking and jumping all over us.  If we are gone from the room for more than 20 minutes, her reaction upon us coming back is as if we had left her for 20 days!  It conveys the envious love our bigger dog has, wishing she was a bit more nimble to get in on the jumping and licking.  And of course, it shows the general chaos that is ever-present in our home, along with the occassional impatience my daughter has for said chaos.

So for me, Home is Love, Home is Chaos, Love is my daughter and dogs (hubby, too).  And all manage to co-exist all under one roof.

This is the layout I was asked to lift:
