The wife of one of my long-time colleagues is having a baby so I saw it as a great chance to make a baby card! Amazingly enough, since starting card making early last year, I have never had a reason for making a baby card so I relished this opportunity. And funny enough, since then, I have had three more opportunities - babies everywhere :-)
It was also my first go at making a tri-fold card. I had a blast picking out all the details - ribbons and sliders, embossing (two folders and three powders), stamping, two types of brads, die cuts, flowers, punches, buttons, twine, three printed papers, five different card stocks and lots of adorable paper.
Tri-fold cards are now a regular part of my productions and this one is being entered into the March challenge from the Unique Crafters Challenge blog!
Super cute! I love the colorful papers and sweet little embellishments...not to mention the tri-fold makes it extra fabulous! :) Thanks for playing in the Unique Crafters Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, and I love how well all the parts work so well together! Repeating the patterns and colors kept it from being too busy! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
